Yeah…, Polish ‘kamper’ does not equal English ‘camper’;) So here I am heading south from the Polish seaside to the Polish-Czech border in a …RECREATIONAL VEHICLE. Our RV is 7.5meters long and 3.5meters high which will make it really hard to turn in these narrow streets of Mediterranean tiny towns and steep mountain roads. Before we get there – my first night ever in an RV: Campsite215 of the Municipal Sport and Recreation Centre in Katowice, located in the picturesque Three Pond Valley, right by the A4 highway (which won’t make you forget about itself throughout the whole night – earplugs highly recommended). 4stars…well-NOT-really-that-deserved. Maybe it offers an outdoor swimming pool, a tennis court and a sauna (I used none of them) but the bathrooms – the only facility we are really interested in. Well … I wouldn’t „star” them at all. You get in through the door that cannot be locked and take a shower cabin with a curtain made of umbrella-like-fabric knee length. No hangers, no stools or shelves so be ready for making friends with strangers holding things for you-most likely kids, as they peekaboo anyways🤪. Well, no moaning;) We had to leave the campsite early in the morning due to Tour de Pologne 🚴🏻♂️🚴🏻♂️ closing the streets around.
